This photo-realistic rendering was generated by using the 3D model - such images can be useful for testing the marketplace before you commit to production.
This is the mould core created directly from the 3D data provided by TAD. The 'core' was machined using a 5-axis CNC machine.
This is the new warrior 175 sports fishing boat. The hull's mould was CNC'd from 3D data supplied by TAD.
TVAC's new owners employed TAD's skills to map out an existing building and its infrastructure to show the feasibility of moving the (then) fragmented operation in to one building.
One of the dozen or so signalling cages manufactured to drawings provided by TAD on Network Rail's recently completed West Coast Line.

This rendering was made using site measurement data to ensure that the staircase would fit without issue. It was manufactured to TAD's drawings and was erected with no issues reported.
3D modeling & visualisation

Easy to read drawings can be created for your clients in a variety of formats. Complex exploded, detail and sectioned views are not a problem.
Concept-to-production
Do you have an idea that needs developing in to a production-ready prototype/product? TAD has the ability to turn your 'fag packet' sketches to reality in no time in collaboration with our manufacturing partners.
With in-house machining facilities - and close links with manufacturing partners, one-off and small volume machining can also be provided.

With our own advanced 3D software and top-end CAD workstations, TAD can meet your needs; be it on your site or remotely.

Warrior Boats Ltd.
Warrior Boats near Preston have built an enviable reputation in the marine leisure industry for class-leading design and quality product. TAD was only too pleased to be given the opportunity to work with Warrior in creating a mould to be CNC machined for their new 17ft ‘Warrior 175’ craft. A 3D model was created from marine architects plans; the pattern makers subsequently used their 5-axis CNC machine to produce the mould - more quickly and accurately than is possible by hand. Renderings were also created for promotional purposes.

Oxton Alarms & CCTV Supplies Ltd.
Merseyside-based OASCCTV provided TAD with a prototype ‘anti-ligature’ CCTV housing for use in custody suites and prisons. TAD redesigned the unit making it smaller and easier to manufacture. Immediately after TAD submitted the drawings, the first unit was manufactured and installed. Consequently, 60 units were ordered and the Home Office is evaluating the unit for widespread use across the UK.

Lighting Motions
Oldham-based Lighting Motions Ltd. produces commercial lighting fittings and employed TAD to develop and provide full manufacturing and assembly drawings of some prototype products. TAD’s advanced design software allows accurate flat-patterns of sheet metal parts to be created which can be used directly by CNC laser, plasma, water jet and punching machines for accurate results and guaranteed repeatability.
Holden's Engineering Ltd.
Holden’s Engineering Ltd. was founded in 1967 and is now a well-known ISO9001 accredited fabrication and engineering company. TAD has a long standing relationship with Holden’s, providing plant layout drawings for their customers Capital Expenditure Approval.
